Hong Kong Hang Seng Index Falls Below 23,000 Points, Down 1.76% on June 26

According to MoneyDJ, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell below 23,000 points to close at 22,671.86 on June 26, down 405.05 points or 1.76%. The index marked its ninth consecutive red day and declined 5.24% for the week. The Hang Seng Tech Index fell 150.33 points or 3.41% to 4,255.59. Tech and heavyweight stocks led the decline, with Alibaba dropping over 5%, while Tencent and Baidu also fell. Semiconductor stocks including SMIC and Wah On Microelectronics, as well as hardware-related shares like Sunny Optical and AAC Technologies, declined in sympathy.
