Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau Recovers 500 BTC Worth $31M From Drug Trafficker Clifton Collins

According to Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB), on Thursday the agency seized 500 bitcoins worth nearly $31 million identified as proceeds from convicted drug trafficker Clifton Collins, with technical support from Europol's European Cybercrime Centre. The recovery brings CAB's total bitcoin seizure in this case to 1,500 BTC valued at over $92 million at current prices. Onchain data from Arkham Intelligence indicates approximately 4,500 BTC linked to Collins remain unretrieved, suggesting nine of the original 12 wallets holding his 6,000 BTC drug proceeds are still untouched.
