According to Uanalyze, satellite communications provider Iridium Communications (IRDM-US) reported Q2 2026 revenue of $225 million on July 22, exceeding analyst expectations of $220 million. Adjusted EBITDA reached $119 million, though earnings per share came in at $0.09, below the consensus estimate of $0.28.

The earnings came as Rocket Lab (RKLB-US), which announced a $8 billion acquisition of Iridium in late June, positions itself to integrate the satellite operator's global network, spectrum assets, and over 2.5 million users with its own rocket launch and satellite manufacturing capabilities. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2027.
