Keiko Fujimori Ally Elected Peru Senate President Today

According to posts from Peru's Congress on X, Senator Miguel Ángel Torres was elected Senate president today (July 26). Torres is a member of the conservative Popular Front party, which is led by President Keiko Fujimori. The positions of vice president were filled by members of the Popular Front and the far-right Renovación Popular party.
