Nigel Farage Scales Back Media Activities After Undisclosed £5M Cryptocurrency Donation Since April 29

According to FT, Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Reform Party, has significantly reduced public media activities since April 29 after facing a parliamentary investigation into an undisclosed £5 million cryptocurrency donation from billionaire Christopher Harborne ahead of the 2024 election. Data shows Farage held 20 press conferences in the first four months of 2026, but only one in May following the disclosure of the unreported grant. The UK Parliament's Commissioner for Standards announced an investigation into the matter, prompting the Reform Party to remove its digital finance policy documents from its website in late May.
