OpenAI Raises $4 Billion for Enterprise AI Deployment Venture

According to Bloomberg, OpenAI has raised over $4 billion for The Deployment Company, a new venture it will control to help businesses adopt its AI software. The venture is valued at $10 billion before the new capital and backed by 19 investors led by TPG and Brookfield Asset Management, along with Advent, Bain Capital, Dragoneer, and SoftBank. The backers’ portfolio companies and clients give the venture access to over 2,000 potential customers.
