Overnight CNH HIBOR Rises to 2-Month High at 1.47%; HKMA Repo Liquidity 40% Utilized on June 18

According to Jin10, on June 18, multiple tenors of CNH HIBOR (offshore yuan Hong Kong interbank offered rates) rose, with the overnight rate increasing 2 basis points to 1.47242%, marking a new high since May 8. The one-week HIBOR climbed 10 basis points to 1.56818%, while the two-week HIBOR rose 8 basis points to 1.56364%, both reaching their highest levels since April 9. Additionally, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's (HKMA) 30 billion yuan daily repurchase agreement liquidity has been utilized by nearly 40%.
