PIMCO Watches for Warsh's Policy Imprint at Next Week's Fed Meeting

According to PIMCO management, bond investors will focus on next week's Federal Reserve meeting to gauge how incoming Chair Kevin Warsh imprints his policy style. Richard Clarida, former Federal Reserve Vice Chair and global economic advisor at PIMCO, noted that investors are assessing how Warsh will reshape the central bank's communication with markets. "The real question is the extent to which Warsh will put his own mark on communication and set his own priorities," Clarida said at a PIMCO media event in New York.
