Samsung Begins Mass Production of PM1763 SSD for Nvidia Vera Rubin Platform

Samsung Electronics has begun mass production of its PM1763 data center solid-state drive, designed for Nvidia's upcoming Vera Rubin platform. The enterprise-grade SSD, unveiled at Nvidia GTC earlier this year, features the company's latest V-NAND flash memory and a newly developed 4-nanometer controller, offering read and write speeds more than twice faster than its predecessor. The drive includes a liquid cooling system to maintain high performance during AI training and inference operations.
