South Korea's 30-Year Bond Yield Hits 4.4%, Curve Steepens on July 8

According to Yonhap News Infomax, on July 8, South Korea's 30-year government bond yield rose to 4.4%, while the spread between 30-year and 10-year yields widened to 20.7 basis points. From April to June, foreign investors purchased over 10 trillion Korean won in 5-year and 10-year government bonds, roughly three times the net buying volume for 30-year bonds.
