SpaceX Captures 86% of Global Launch Capacity in Q1 2026, Musk Says Starship Will Exceed All Competitors by 100x

According to BlockBeats, SpaceX captured 86% of global launch capacity in the first quarter of 2026, with 556,000 kg of payload to orbit, more than 13 times that of its nearest competitor. Global launch capacity totaled approximately 647,000 kg in the quarter, up 18% year-over-year.

Musk commented that once Starship achieves hourly launch cadence, SpaceX's orbital mass would be approximately 100 times the combined total of all other operators, even if they tripled their current launch frequency. Starship remains in early commercial operations, but SpaceX has already established overwhelming dominance with its Falcon series.
