Ubisoft Co-founder Claude Guillemot Dies in Plane Crash in France

According to Ubisoft's official statement on Saturday, June 20, co-founder Claude Guillemot has died following an unexpected accident. The 69-year-old was among two passengers aboard a twin-engine Cessna 421 aircraft that crashed in La Baule, a coastal resort town in western France, on Friday. Both passengers on the aircraft died in the incident.

Guillemot, who also served as chairman of Guillemot Corp, was one of two passengers aboard the aircraft. The company expressed deep condolences to his family and loved ones, stating it would not issue further statements at this time.
