According to Fortune, Theodore Gillibrand, son of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, recently completed $30 million in funding at a $300 million valuation for American Perpetuals Exchange Corp. (APEC). The platform plans to offer equity and stock index perpetual futures—not crypto derivatives—and will seek licensing from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
