U.S. stock markets opened lower today (July 22), with the Dow Jones falling 0.07%, the S&P 500 declining 0.19%, and the Nasdaq dropping 0.54%. Storage and AI chip stocks faced broad declines, led by SK Hynix (SKHY.O) down over 5%, Western Digital (WDC.O) and Seagate Technology (STX.O) down approximately 4% each, and Micron Technology (MU.O) down over 3%. Intel (INTC.O) fell over 3%, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM.N) declined over 2%, and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.O) dropped 1.6%.
