According to Mars Finance news on October 31, as per a press release from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR has appointed the chairperson and members of the Stablecoin Review Tribunal under the Stablecoin Ordinance (Chapter 656). Senior barrister Lan Deye will serve as the chairperson, and the members include Professor Huang Hao, Qiu Yuanyun, Lv Zhihong, Mai Yecheng, Wu Jianlin, and Xiao Ziqian. The tribunal is established under the Stablecoin Ordinance and is responsible for reviewing specified decisions made by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority under the Stablecoin Ordinance upon receiving appeals, which will help ensure that relevant regulatory decisions are reasonable and fair.
