Gate DEX, a decentralized trading gateway developed and operated by Gate.io crypto exchange, today announced a strategic integration with Pieverse, a Web3 payment infrastructure that utilizes the x402b solution to enable auditable, gas-free payments. This collaboration enabled the integration of Pieverse’s x402-based autonomous AI payment functionality to introduce gas-free, verifiable on-chain payments on Gate DEX’s intelligent multi-agent coordination network

Gate DEX is a decentralized trading platform that supports multi-chain swaps, spot trading, and derivatives trading, designed to deliver a secure, transparent, and high-execution on-chain trading experience to global customers. It is a DEX (decentralized exchange) that allows users to seamlessly buy and sell crypto assets (spot trading), access leveraged strategies for higher trading flexibility (derivative trading), and efficiently exchange assets across various chains to maximize liquidity (cross-chain swaps). Through its MCP (model context protocol) technology, AI agents on the Gate DEX platform perform various trading activities, including multi-chain swaps, wallet analysis, market tracking, smart money alerts, and many others.

Why Gate DEX Launches Partnership With Pieverse

The alliance above enabled Gate DEX to integrate Pieverse’s x402b protocol into its decentralized exchange ecosystem to allow AI agents to handle payment processes (from discovery, checkout, to settlements) through x420b standards

Pieverse is a Web3 payment infrastructure built on the x420 communication standard, a solution that supports agent-to-agent payments using in-built timestamping and compliance verification system. The platform runs timestamping and compliance infrastructure for Web3 payments, positioning itself as a cloud computing layer for the x402 agent economy, ensuring that all agent transactions are verified, audited, and comply with global reporting standards.

Based on the collaboration above, the integration of Pieverse’s x402b payment framework enables Gate DEX’s AI-powered transactions to have timestamp recording, verifiable (auditable), and compliance capabilities, making them suitable for use cases like management of financial trading (transactions) and social automation.

The incorporation of this solution allows Gate DEX AI agents to organize and settle real on-chain activities like engaging in multi-chain token swaps, executing on-chain checkout processes, and automatically generating compliant receipts.

Unlocking Agentic Payments In Web3

The partnership between Gate DEX and Pieverse is important as it helps to create the foundation for transparent AI-native finance in the Web3 landscape, advancing the seamless and intelligent development of DeFi payments.

Compliance is normally a major concern for most projects and enterprises operating in the Web3 environment. Pieverse addresses this challenge using its x402b protocol, a system that plays a crucial role in ensuring that all AI-driven transactions comply with essential regulations.

The partnership highlights Gate DEX’s commitment to confidently managing financial activities on its multi-chain platform, using Pieverse’s x402b infrastructure to maintain transparency and accountability of its AI agents, a crucial audit process for any on-chain platform.
