#法国比特币战略储备计划 As the Tether company strengthens its tagging algorithm, USDT holders face unprecedented risks and challenges. In the past, tagged USDT would only be frozen when transferred to an exchange, and the processing was slow, making the assets in the wallet relatively safe. Now, the situation has completely changed; even if there is only an indirect association with tagged USDT, the entire wallet address may face freezing measures.

Tether has frozen over $1.3 billion in suspicious assets through close cooperation with global law enforcement agencies. While this has enhanced its compliance reputation, it has left ordinary users feeling uneasy. Given the high frequency nature of USDT transactions, users can hardly confirm whether their Address has been associated with risk addresses. The incident where 29.62 million USDT were frozen due to the links to a theft case involving Cambodia's Huibang Group is a real reflection of this risk.

This phenomenon has put the highly revered concept of "decentralization" in the cryptocurrency world under severe scrutiny. In fact, the issuance, destruction, and freezing rights of USDT are completely controlled by Tether, and the transparency of the blockchain appears powerless under the intervention of centralized institutions. At the same time, anonymous transactions are no longer existent, as advanced on-chain tracking technology fully exposes the flow of funds, and Tether's freezing operations easily break through address isolation.

Does this development represent a positive progress in industry compliance or a serious setback to the essence of decentralization? This question may not have a definitive answer. However, an undeniable fact is that the risks associated with USDT offline transactions have significantly increased today, and a slight misstep could lead to fund freezes or even judicial investigations, necessitating users to exercise extra caution.

Collecting money should be done early, the on-chain situation is too chaotic.
