A car company saved hundreds of millions in advertising costs due to an incident

On Zhejiang Expressway, Mr. Chen, the owner of the Askway M9, was driving home. After crossing the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, he suddenly felt as if a giant stone was pressing on his chest. His vision went black, and he lost consciousness.
At that moment, the vehicle’s DMS was capturing 30 photos per second, analyzing his eyeballs and facial muscles.
It detected that he blinked for 12 seconds and did not respond after three calls to “Please take over the vehicle.” The system then took control, turning the steering wheel to the right, activating the turn signals, reducing speed from 110 mph to 60 mph, and smoothly guiding the vehicle into the emergency lane with hazard lights flashing wildly. This series of actions was extremely smooth, allowing the following cars to slow down in time without any contact.
Even more impressive was his Huawei smartwatch on his wrist: at the moment of unconsciousness, the PPG sensor inside the strap detected his heart rate skyrocketing from 70 to 180, then dropping to 30. It immediately triggered the “Emergency Medical Response” mode—automatically dialing 122 and the hospital emergency center, and sending real-time location, vehicle model, and the owner’s medical history.
