Never say that someone can’t afford four dishes, because this saying curses them far too harshly.

Isn’t it just mocking someone for being poor and having no money? Is that what it means?
The first dish is the full-month dish at birth.
The second dish is the wedding dish when they start a household.
The third dish is the separation dish after a hundred years.
The fourth dish is an offering.
So saying that someone can’t afford four dishes is cursing them to be childless and have no descendants, to never be able to get married, to be unable to have children, to die with no one to see them off, and to die with no one thinking about them—
Isn’t that too much, too harsh?
