Michael Saylor predicts that pension funds will need some Bitcoin.

MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor recently predicted in an article posted on the X social media network that the US pension funds, which manage a total of over $27 trillion in assets, will need "some Bitcoin".
His forecast now seems a bit far-fetched. In a filing submitted on Tuesday, the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), which manages the state's public pension fund, disclosed that it has acquired $99 million worth of iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) shares from BlackRock. Bloomberg's Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas suggests that this could be a watershed moment for institutions.
