Laut CCTV gab das Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) des US-Finanzministeriums am 2. Juni ein Update seiner Liste der Specially Designated Nationals und Blocked Persons bekannt. Dabei wurden mehrere iranische Krypto-Handelsplattformen sowie in Zusammenhang stehende Personen in die Sanktionsliste aufgenommen.

Nobitex, Irans größter Digital-Asset-Börsenbetreiber, gehörte zu den Betroffenen.
