E-mini S&P 500 Futures Fall 0.07% as Overnight U.S. Rebound Fades on July 7

According to Yonhapinfomax, on July 7 morning (Asia time), E-mini S&P 500 futures fell 0.07% to 7,586.50, while E-mini Nasdaq 100 futures declined 0.23% to 29,871.50, reversing overnight gains despite semiconductor strength. U.S. equities had closed higher overnight, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average breaking 53,000 for the first time, the S&P 500 rising 0.72%, and the Nasdaq Composite gaining over 1%, led by semiconductor stocks including Western Digital up 7% and AMD up 6.6%.

U.S. 10-year Treasury yields rose to 4.48% from prior-day levels, while the 30-year yield reached 4.99% and the 2-year yield climbed to 4.127%. The dollar index gained 0.04% to 100.883. Analysts attributed overnight strength to broad-based earnings recovery, though Microsoft declined after announcing a 4,800-employee layoff plan.
