Goldman Sachs Cuts Q4 2026 Brent Oil Price Forecast to $80 per Barrel

According to Goldman Sachs' research report published on June 17, the bank downgraded its Brent crude oil price forecast for the fourth quarter of 2026 from $90 per barrel to $80, and its 2027 average forecast from $80 to $75 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is projected to average $75 per barrel in Q4 2026 and $70 in 2027. Goldman Sachs expects Persian Gulf exports to recover to pre-war levels by end of July, a month earlier than previously expected, supporting long-term oil price resilience amid anticipated supply surplus and recovering demand.
