Kazakhstan Halts Black Sea Oil Exports on Tuesday After Tanker Attacks Near Novorossiysk

According to Bloomberg, Kazakhstan halted crude oil shipments to its main Black Sea export terminal near Novorossiysk on Tuesday after a series of attacks on tankers raised security concerns. The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal stopped accepting pipeline-delivered crude as oil companies refused to dispatch vessels to the facility amid safety risks. If the pipeline disruption persists through the end of the week, Kazakhstan's oil producers may be forced to reduce production output.
