NH Investment & Securities Identifies KOSPI 6000 as Floor, Expects Rebound to 7000 Level

According to NH Investment & Securities, South Korea's KOSPI benchmark has reached a level where 6000 represents the bottom floor support on July 20. The securities firm estimates the index could rebound toward the 7000 early-to-mid range in the near term, citing multiple headwinds already priced in. Kim Byung-yeon, head of investment strategy, noted that while short-term spike declines remain possible, the market is now positioned for technical rebounds within 2-3 days. The firm attributes recent weakness to semiconductor peak-out concerns, Middle East geopolitical risks, and supply-demand imbalances, but expects stabilization following next week's big tech earnings reports and Federal Reserve decision.
