Putin, Trump Reaffirm Preference for Political Solution to Ukraine on July 4 Call

According to Russian Presidential Aide Ushakov, President Putin and President Trump spoke on July 4, discussing Ukraine conflict resolution. Trump reiterated his willingness to facilitate a ceasefire and pursue a peaceful resolution, while Trump's envoy Wittekoff and son-in-law Kushner will continue mediation efforts with plans to visit Moscow at an appropriate time.
