U.S. 10-Year Treasury Yields Fall 3 Basis Points to 4.4532% on May 28

U.S. 10-year Treasury yields fell approximately 3 basis points on Thursday (May 28) to close at 4.4532%, according to market data. The 10-year yield initially rose to 4.5321% before retreating following the release of PCE inflation data and reports of a U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding.

Other maturities declined as well: 2-year Treasury yields fell 1.03 basis points to 4.0225%, while 30-year yields dropped 2.73 basis points to 4.9837%. The 2/10-year yield curve spread narrowed by 1.907 basis points to 42.649 basis points. Ten-year TIPS (inflation-protected securities) yields declined 2.80 basis points to 2.0374%.
