Volkswagen Considers Selling 8.3% Stake in Bayern Munich

According to Bloomberg, Volkswagen is considering selling an 8.3% stake in Bayern Munich as part of a broader restructuring. The German automaker is reviewing its shares in the football club held through subsidiaries Audi and Porsche, while also reassessing other football sponsorship projects. The restructuring could result in up to 100,000 job cuts. Volkswagen intends to retain its stakes in VfL Wolfsburg and FC Ingolstadt 04.
