Airdrop snapshot completed! Solana Mobile confirms SKR token launch on January 21

Blockchain developer Solana Labs’ subsidiary Solana Mobile announced that the native token SKR will officially launch on January 21. The snapshot for the first phase of community airdrop eligibility has been completed, and the initial airdrop will distribute 2 billion tokens. According to the latest announcement on the official social platform X, the total supply of SKR tokens is fixed at 10 billion. Solana Mobile demonstrates its sincerity to the community by allocating 20% of the total (i.e., 2 billion tokens) specifically for rewarding eligible early users and developers.

The first ever Seeker Season has concluded, with over 265 dApps, 9 million transactions, and $2.6 billion in volume.

Who can claim? This airdrop mainly targets Seeker mobile users and developers active within the Solana Mobile ecosystem.
Airdrop ratio: The official revealed that up to 30% of the tokens will be used for various airdrop programs, with the first 20% to be available for claiming on the launch day, January 21.

SKR is not just a trading token but the core of governance and incentives within the entire Solana Mobile ecosystem. Holders can stake the tokens to nodes called “Guardians.” These Guardians are a delegated team responsible for ensuring platform security and participating in governance decisions.
