Litecoin official: Lester is not the official mascot of Litecoin

According to the latest news from TechFlow, on November 20th, the official Twitter account of Litecoin issued a statement in response to the recent unauthorized use of the image of Lester by a Solana ecosystem project. Previously, in response to the humorous statement that LTC is a Meme coin, the DOGE community commissioned the well-known creator Greg to design the image of Lester for Litecoin. However, this image was subsequently used by a third party for the on-chain issuance of ‘lestercoin’ Token on Solana. The Litecoin team stated that they have no affiliation with this project and emphasized that Lester is not the official mascot of Litecoin.

However, the official Litecoin Twitter retweeted a question asking “Will Litecoin keep Lester as its mascot?” and responded affirmatively, saying “Yes.”
