Cortex Blockchain is an open-source, public blockchain that seeks to solve one of the biggest challenges facing blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum today: on-chain AI execution. The Cortex Virtual Machine (CVM) is a framework that enables efficient machine learning inference on the Cortex blockchain. It allows for the integration of machine learning models into smart contracts and dApps. Cortex has proposed a mechanism to incentivize AI developers to store models on the blockchain. This creates an open ecosystem where individual AI developers are incentivized to upload their AI models to the blockchain, and Dapp developers have access to the best AI models in the world.
