CZ Clarifies Destruction of 700M CZ and 400M TCC Tokens as Wallet Cleanup on July 13

According to BlockBeats, CZ clarified on X on July 13 that destroying 700 million CZ and 400 million TCC tokens into a dead address overnight was simply a wallet cleanup. "There's nothing deep about it," CZ said. "I hadn't checked that wallet in a while. When I opened it, I found way too many tokens—over 10,000. The software display wasn't user-friendly, so I made a suggestion and then ran a test. Sending them to my address defeats the purpose; direct destruction is better." Following the destruction, both CZ and TCC tokens experienced gains.
