This morning (June 13), Israel launched Operation “Rising Lion” and carried out airstrikes on dozens of Iranian military targets.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, “This is a targeted military operation aimed at eliminating the threat posed by Iran to the survival of Israel. This operation will last for several days until this threat is eliminated.”
“We have struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program and efforts to weaponize nuclear materials. Our target is Iran’s main uranium enrichment facility located in Natanz. We have also targeted top Iranian nuclear scientists involved in nuclear bomb research and the core of Iran’s ballistic missile program.”
Iran has announced that the reactor located in Natanz has been bombed.
Previously, the United States warned that Israel might carry out airstrikes on Iran and advised Americans to evacuate from the Middle East on June 12.
II. Israel’s Nuclear Threat and Nuclear Strategy
It is well known that Israel neither confirms nor denies its possession of nuclear weapons, which is a policy of ambiguity. However, all countries believe it has hundreds of nuclear weapons.
The day before, Netanyahu stated: “If we fall… of course, that won’t happen, but if we really do fall, many places in the world will also collapse.”
This statement is a blatant expression:
Israel possesses nuclear weapons.
Israel does not allow other Middle Eastern countries (mainly Iran) to have nuclear weapons, and Israel needs to maintain a nuclear advantage in the Middle East. (This is precisely the reason for the recent Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.)
If Israel is attacked, it will adopt a “nuclear bundling strategy” to carry out nuclear strikes against other countries, leading to a collective disaster. These “other countries” clearly include Middle Eastern countries that have strained relations with Israel, and even countries outside the Middle East that have poor relations with Israel (if it has the operational capability).
So this is a blatant threat to all countries that have conflicts with Israel.
III. Who do we support?
The reason for Israel’s airstrikes on Iran is that Iran poses a threat to Israel.
The reason Russia began its attack on Ukraine on February 24, 2022, was that Ukraine sought to join NATO, which posed a threat to Russia.
I am very curious, how many people who support Ukraine and oppose the Russian invasion will support Iran and oppose the Israeli invasion this time?

Short-term benefits for gold and oil prices. Therefore, the short-term beneficiaries are: oil and petrochemicals, gold stocks, and military stocks. (Note: These statements do not constitute investment advice, and any actions taken based on this are at your own risk.)
Especially military stocks. The world is becoming increasingly unstable. Countries will pursue arming themselves.
There is a common misunderstanding among Chinese people that if a war does not happen nearby, it doesn’t count as World War III. In reality, WW3 may have already occurred. (Just like Europeans believe that World War II started on September 1, 1939, but Chinese people think it should be counted from September 18, 1931).
WW1 broke out in Europe, and the main battlefield was also in Europe.
WW2 broke out in Asia, with the main battlegrounds in Asia and Europe.
Isn’t it quite normal for WW3 to break out from Eastern Europe or the Middle East?
